Alert the press anonymously to an issue at a company

A planned closure, redundancies or a dispute: you can report a verifiable fact. Your name is never published, and nothing appears without approval from the newsroom.

Why share information with the press?

A planned closure, redundancies or serious misconduct can go unnoticed until it is too late to discuss them. Verified information, once published, gives employees, elected representatives and the public the opportunity to act on it.

Bring a verifiable fact to light

The newsroom cross-checks information before publication, giving it greater weight.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if the information is false?

It will not be published. The newsroom only publishes information it has been able to cross-check with other sources or the organisation concerned.

Why use Clarsource instead of writing directly to a journalist?

You remain anonymous, your documents are stripped of their metadata, and a newsroom cross-checks the information before anything is published. You can also contact a journalist directly if you wish.

Can my employer find out that I submitted the information?

Your identity is never published or shared with the organisation concerned. Avoid using a device or email address provided by your employer.

Do I have to provide an email address?

No. If you do not provide contact details, you can track your submission using a personal code. Your information will then serve as a lead for the newsroom, rather than being published as submitted.

Am I protected as a whistleblower?

Whistleblower status is governed by law. If you wish to report a crime, an offence or a threat to the public interest, you can contact the Défenseur des droits.

I want to report a company to URSSAF, DGCCRF or the labour inspectorate

Clarsource alerts the press, not the authorities. For undeclared work, contact URSSAF. For consumer fraud, contact DGCCRF via SignalConso. For concerns about your working conditions, contact your local labour inspectorate. For tax fraud, contact the tax authorities.

What types of information can I submit?

Verifiable facts about a company or institution: planned closures, redundancies, disputes, working conditions and strategic decisions.
