A database of fundraising rounds, M&A and investments, structured at source
Amounts, stakeholders, locations and dates extracted from every announcement, linked to the SIREN and dated at source. Available for export and via API.
Why sourced data makes a difference to analysis
Databases aggregate figures without always explaining where they come from. The same fundraising round may appear with three different amounts. Clarsource keeps the link to the source.
Know what has been declared
An amount announced by a company is not the same as one confirmed by an independent source.
Track corrections
Corrected data retains its history, which is useful for auditing your models.

Frequently asked questions
Does the data cover SMEs?
Yes. Any organisation with a SIREN can publish, and most issuers are SMEs and mid-sized companies, which are often missing from international databases.
Why use Clarsource instead of manual monitoring?
Transactions are extracted and structured at source, linked to the SIREN and dated. There is no need to reread every press release to find the amount, parties and date.
What data is available?
Transactions published on Clarsource: fundraising rounds, mergers and acquisitions, investments, contracts, results, appointments and insolvency proceedings sourced from public records.
How can I distinguish declared data from verified data?
Each field is assigned a status: declared, checked or validated. You can filter by status.
How far back does the history go?
It goes back to the launch of Clarsource. Announcements republished from public sources show their original publication date.
Can I export the data?
Yes, as a CSV from the filtered feed, or via the API for larger volumes.
How does Clardot fit in?
Clardot brings together complete company profiles and the journal. Clarsource provides the original announcements that feed into those profiles.
